While clean machines weren’t the stars of last week’s Consumer Electronics Show, sanitation was on the minds of attendees.  A healthy hand-washing isn’t enough, say geeks, when it comes to staying germ-free at trade shows.

Although his resignation from Microsoft has been rumored for some time, Bill Gates computing days may have come to an end, at least within in the Microsoft machine.  The speculation suggesting that Bill may be ready to jump the Microsoft ship begs the question: what will he do afterwards?

Can't we all just get along? We thought we'd do our own small bit to encourage peace among our fellow geeks. <podium speech> I have a dream.... that one day, geeks and nerds of all types, will join together and live in peace... </end podium speech>. To celebrate the goal of peace and prosperity for all geekdom, we've managed to get rival operating systems, browsers and search engines to hold hands. Hey, at least it's a start... next step: a geeky group rendition of Kumbaya and a nerd love-in.
