Happy Worker is assembling a small team of full-time 3D artists and designers to work from February to June 2016. This exciting new project would involve designing spaceships and weapons that will become toys! The artists will collaborate and work together so if you have a team or know of anyone else you would want to collaborate with, bring them along!
We’re looking for a very special kind of person. Someone who lives to tackle any and all challenges with oodles of optimism and cheerful can-do-ing. Self-motivated, passionate about toys and design, they get all the little details right while getting things done quickly. They’re well suited to working with other perfectionists, receiving regular constructive criticism, and constantly tweaking to make things better. Ultimately they are a born happy worker with a professional-yet-fun attitude!
Must-Have Experience + Talents
- Expert with Graphics and Visuals: Prior experience with SolidWorks, preparing 3D models for 3D printing, with the ability to work quickly (clean, watertight models that will retain crisp details once printed). If you decide to apply, please mention in your cover letter which software you know and love!
- Detail-Driven Perfectionist: Great eye for fine details, backed up with an ability to remember lots o’ itty bitty features for dozens of projects without going cross-eyed; you ensure every “t” is crossed and “i” dotted.
- Geek Culture, Gaming, Toys and Collectibles: Appreciation for geek culture with a love for modeling vehicles, spaceships, and weapons!
