Sizing Up your Stress Toys

Many “standard” stress balls are 2 inches to 3 inches in diameter – a comfortable handheld size. We will custom design your unique stress toys in the size that best suits the concept, your campaign and your recipients.

Materials & Engineering

Most custom stress balls are made from polyurethane foam, which has both excellent squeezability and durability. However, there are several material options too:

Polyurethane (PU) foam: the most popular custom stress ball material, PU foam can take on almost any shape, color and detailing. It’s durable, can be made in varying densities, and will withstand thousands upon thousands of squeezes.
Silicone rubber: flexible silicone is fun alternative for creating bendy shapes. It’s a denser squishy material. However, it isn’t well suited to highly detailed custom stress ball shapes or products requiring paint details.
Gel-filled: stress balls can also be filled with gels of different densities, and are popular for therapeutic applications.
Sand, rice or beans: yes, even the lowly bean bag can make an interesting stress toy. We can creatively reinvent more old-fashioned, environmentally friendly green custom stress toys by creating an outer shell of latex rubber or fabric, and filling with naturally squishy materials. The main trade-offs are limited shape flexibility and less durability.

Many customized stress balls are geared for giveaways and thus have limited packaging. This said, packaging stress toys can provide an excellent marketing canvas.
