Happy Worker is a unique toy and gift manufacturer. We help companies, brands, agencies and organizations create original custom plush and stuffed animals. But we don’t make just any “old” plush toys…

Happy Worker specializes in unique, stylish plush toy and stuffed animal designs and new shapes that engage and excite. We work together with our clients to create toys and collectibles that embody the unique spirit, energy and character of their brands.  And included in each plush and custom stuffed animal we make is our passion for creative perfection and happiness.

 

Timelines
Custom Plush Creation-to-Delivery

Creating new plush toys from scratch requires between 14 and 18 weeks to design, prototype, fabricate and deliver. More time is sometimes needed for plush creations that have complex designs or patterns, or that require atypical fabrics or materials. We can offer a committed delivery date as soon as the final pre-production plush prototype is approved.

 

Order Quantities
Ideal Order Sizes for Custom Plush

Due to the amount of design brain time, passion and perfectionism we put into each new plush toy creation we prefer to work on projects of 3,500+ toys for “medium” sized plush (generally 8 –10 inches tall, or 20 – 25 cm), or 5,000+ toys for miniature plush (less than 2 inches tall or 10 cm). We can readily support projects ranging in the hundreds of thousands or even millions of plush toys.

If you are planning a smaller number of stuffed toys, possibly as an initial “test” order, you are welcome to contact us and together we can decide if there is a fit with the project. It’s important that you know that we put the same effort into each plush regardless of order size. So for smaller projects, “start-up” creative and pre-production investments such as design, prototyping and molds will represent a larger percentage of per-toy pricing when spread over a smaller number of stuffed toys.

 

Pricing
Custom Plush Setup & Per-Unit

As with most things pricing varies depending on the plush character’s size, complexity, fabric and stuffing, tagging, packaging, and the number of toys created at a time.  Most custom stuffed toys we fabricate are priced at wholesale prices - typically half of what the plushies’ suggested retail price would be if they were sold at retail shops.

• Per-unit Pricing

Most “medium” sized stuffed plush range between $5/ea and $10/ea in quantity, while pricing for miniature plush toys can range from $2 to $5, or possibly less in the hundreds of thousands or millions of plush.

• One-time “Start-up”

Creative and pre-production investments – such as design, prototyping and molds are normally on top of the per-unit pricing, and can range from the high hundreds of dollars to low thousands depending on stuffed toy design and project complexity.

• We Design to Budgets

Happy Worker invents and designs plush from scratch. We work backwards from budget targets and program goals to create and manufacture the best plush toys for each project. Please contact us with your ideas and our happy team will help recommend the best custom stuffed toys.
